I am an architectural designer with a Master's degree in Architecture and a strong passion for thoughtful, human-centered design. I have contributed to a range of interior and architectural projects, including offices and residences, blending creative aesthetics with technical planning.

I hold a Master's Degree in Architecture and I practice the profession, with a base in Kwazulu Natal (Pietermaritzburg) and the Eastern Cape (King William's Town). I am also a certified TEFL teacher with specialties in Business English, Content & Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), and IELTS exam preparation. I am currently learning French and German for the purpose of further studies in the engineering fields. Being a language student myself, I am convinced of the importance of the relationship between language acquisition and academic (and even professional) endeavors as a necessary component for successful career pathing in our contemporary globalized and increasingly globalizing world. Given my academic and career background in English and Architecture, I am equipped to teach Architecture to undergraduates and postgraduates who are either English proficient learners or speakers of English as a foreign language. For speakers of English as a foreign language, I am able to integrate the teaching of language with the teaching of content. I prefer online tutoring, although I am able to do in-person lessons upon request. My teaching approach is rigorous, yet stimulating engagements with content, always with the intention to inspire and equip learners for the real world of business and academia. Subjects I tutor are architectural coursework subjects for undergraduate and postgraduate learners, and research subjects for dissertations. For professionals in the construction industry, I tutor Business English on subjects such as the law of contracts, project management, architectural office practice, sustainability in construction, etc. I look forward to engaging with you as we embark on a journey of learning and growth together!

Hi! My name is Christian, and I am a tutor of Architecture. I am based in Manila, Philippines, and I graduated from the University of Santo Tomas College of Architecture. I am proud to say that I achieved high marks during my undergraduate studies and even in the licensure exams. As a result, I have attained the titles of Architect and Plumbing Engineer, both in the same month. Being able to be an Architect and Engineer at the same time has opened me up to a wider understanding of the many aspects shared by the world of design and construction. I am a very outgoing and friendly person. I enjoy traveling and exploring different countries, especially their architecture. I am also introverted, and I express myself a little bit better in smaller, intimate conversations. Over these years, I have gained a lot of knowledge in creating architectural visuals for both interior and exterior scenes. Hi! I am a lead office architect proficient in design softwares such as Autocad, Sketchup, Lumion, Microsoft Office and have an advanced knowledge in Vray Software and Adobe Design Suites. I train interns who are fresh from the field to be more accustomed to this softwares. I am very passionate on helping young minds to be more efficient in their workflow by teaching different techniques for faster results. With a background of technical production, a huge plus is considered for the specific items needed to be in mind in the field of Architectural drawings. Aside from that, I have a wide range of skillsets from drafting, rendering, estimating, and presenting of designs. I am a graduate of Architecture in Baguio City. I completed my 2 years apprenticeship in the same city, with a firm that specializes in residences. In addition to that, I worked as a Design Manager in an interior & exterior fit-out company in Dubai, UAE for a year before deciding to go back to the Philippines to pursue my dream of having my own Architectural firm. And YES, I have not yet taken my Licensure exam, due to the pandemic that keeps on canceling the exam. So while waiting, I decided to start the firm with 2 colleagues of mine that are already licensed.
