I am a Biology graduate with experience in laboratory research and natural products studies. I offer engaging and personalized lessons in Biology and Science for High School and University students. Hi! I am Ara, your geologist-mama! I graduated with a BS in Geology from the University of the Philippines and completed my Master's in Environment and Natural Resources Management at the University of the Philippines Open University. I previously worked as an exploration geologist in the mining industry for almost six years and spent two years conducting geohazard research and mapping at the Manila Observatory. I am currently a stay-at-home mom who is very willing to share my expertise and knowledge with kids and science lovers!

I currently work for the Department of Medicine at The University of Hong Kong. I have achieved a 2:1 in Biomedical Science at a UK university and as a native English speaker can easily tutor students for Biology or associated subjects in this language.
