I am Sherlin, currently an undergraduate scholar student at NTU, studying a Double Major in Biomedical Sciences and Biobusiness. I am a patient, friendly, and responsible tutor who focuses on helping my students build a strong understanding and confidence in the subjects that I teach. My teaching style is clear and structured. I break down concepts into simple steps, identify weaknesses, and guide students through common exam mistakes and answering techniques. I teach Primary School Math and Science, as well as Secondary School Chemistry and Biology. I always try to tailor my lessons to each student’s learning pace and needs. I have 1 year of tutoring experience. Previously, I tutored 1 O level student in Pure Chemistry and Pure Biology, 1 N level student for Combined Chemistry, and 1 primary 5 student for Science and Math. I graduated from the IP programme at Dunman High, obtaining A* grades in both Biology and Chemistry in Secondary 4 EOYs, and an A grade in H2 Chemistry, A in H2 Math, and B in H2 Biology in my A levels. I am currently holding a scholarship at NTU. My previous sec 4 student improved to an A1 for Chemistry and Biology from B4 in her prelim this year. My previous p5 student also improved to an AL1 and AL2 for her Math and Science exams, respectively. I am confident in my content knowledge and hope to guide my students with the proper exam techniques to the best of my abilities!
