Computer science and coding is my expertise. Do not worry if coding seems like jargon to you, I have lots of patience and will help you become comfortable and confident in all areas computer science related. I am located in Muizenberg, but am happy to offer lessons online if you live too far from me. Although I work professionally as a qualified computer programmer, I have teaching experience and love mentoring and guiding. Everybody thinks differently and it is my goal to find that exact way of explaining concepts that will give you that "Aha!" feeling. I believe with computer science as with maths, that understanding the fundamentals and logic, instead of blindly memorizing concepts you do not understand, is the key to turn a subject you fear into one that interests and challenges you. I am very friendly and easy-going. I think this is important, because I believe you learn the best when you feel comfortable and relaxed. I have experience in the languages on my profile, but being a coder for so long means that even if the language you have to learn is not in my profile, I am pretty confident I will be able to understand and explain it.

Hi, I am Jojo, a teacher of primary and secondary or college students. I am currently teaching at a college school. I am good at teaching coding. I can help you learn about computing using the English language as our medium of instruction. I am teaching Python in higher secondary. I used to teach Scratch in block coding which is a very exciting thing for kids. I can teach text coding as well, as this is the best learning foundation for computer programming and web development studies. I can also teach 2D/3D design and simulation using CAD and SketchUp.
