I am a very friendly English and History tutor who started teaching in Hong Kong in 2002. I have a wealth of materials and experience for teaching International school entrance exams, UKiset, IGCSE, A-Level, IB, HKDSE, LSAT, AP, IELTS and SATs. My tutorial office is on the 29th level of Infinitus Plaza, conveniently above Sheung Wan exit E3. I have an Honours degree in History from the University of Cambridge and I am a qualified teacher, having obtained a PGDE from the University of Hong Kong in 2007. I previously worked for 22 years at AMG Ltd. as a Senior English and History Tutor. During that time, I helped students successfully gain scholarships for Wycombe Abbey, Harrow, and Eton, as well as achieve top marks in examinations and gain admission to elite universities.

I have worked for over 25 years as a professional trainer, conducting leadership, English language, and business writing courses, and providing executive coaching and leadership development consulting. I am now semi-retired and would like to focus on teaching and tutoring, which I have always found to be the most satisfying aspect of my work. I am a British teacher of English language and literature, and I have been working in Hong Kong since 2001. Before that, I taught English in Japan for over 10 years. From 2001 until 2023, I was a senior tutor at AMG Ltd. in Language and Literature for students aged 8-18. At AMG, I taught UKISET, IDAT, ISEB 11+ and 13+, SSAT, (I)GCSE, HKDSE, IB, SAT, NAPLAN, IELTS, LSAT, and many other Australian and Canadian curricula.
