I am a very friendly English and History tutor who started teaching in Hong Kong in 2002. I have a wealth of materials and experience for teaching International school entrance exams, UKiset, IGCSE, A-Level, IB, HKDSE, LSAT, AP, IELTS and SATs. My tutorial office is on the 29th level of Infinitus Plaza, conveniently above Sheung Wan exit E3. I have an Honours degree in History from the University of Cambridge and I am a qualified teacher, having obtained a PGDE from the University of Hong Kong in 2007. I previously worked for 22 years at AMG Ltd. as a Senior English and History Tutor. During that time, I helped students successfully gain scholarships for Wycombe Abbey, Harrow, and Eton, as well as achieve top marks in examinations and gain admission to elite universities.

I have 15 years of teaching experience at an international school in Bangkok. I work as a learning support teacher for students with special needs, as well as teaching students who need to improve their English proficiency. Currently, I am conducting online English lessons primarily for individuals of French and Thai nationality, but anyone who is interested is welcome. Additionally, I am a dyslexia practitioner and have completed a 64-hour course on instruction. I have also attended several courses on teaching English as an additional language. I am passionate, patient, and motivated, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching children.

I hold a Master's Degree in Architecture and I practice the profession, with a base in Kwazulu Natal (Pietermaritzburg) and the Eastern Cape (King William's Town). I am also a certified TEFL teacher with specialties in Business English, Content & Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), and IELTS exam preparation. I am currently learning French and German for the purpose of further studies in the engineering fields. Being a language student myself, I am convinced of the importance of the relationship between language acquisition and academic (and even professional) endeavors as a necessary component for successful career pathing in our contemporary globalized and increasingly globalizing world. Given my academic and career background in English and Architecture, I am equipped to teach Architecture to undergraduates and postgraduates who are either English proficient learners or speakers of English as a foreign language. For speakers of English as a foreign language, I am able to integrate the teaching of language with the teaching of content. I prefer online tutoring, although I am able to do in-person lessons upon request. My teaching approach is rigorous, yet stimulating engagements with content, always with the intention to inspire and equip learners for the real world of business and academia. Subjects I tutor are architectural coursework subjects for undergraduate and postgraduate learners, and research subjects for dissertations. Hi! I am a Canadian citizen who has lived and worked in Thailand for 25 years as an educator and business manager. I have taught at the high school level, but mostly lectured in universities (ABAC, Ramkhamhaeng U. and NIDA). I am currently in my final year of university, studying Politics at the University of East Anglia.
