Hello! I’m Moon, a Primary teacher with a background in English and Social Studies education. I support young learners in understanding Social Studies topics in a clear, engaging, and meaningful way. My lessons focus on helping students understand key concepts, improve reading and comprehension skills, and develop the ability to think critically about topics such as history, geography, and society. I also support students in completing school assignments and preparing for assessments. I aim to make learning interesting and relatable, helping students connect what they learn to the real world.

I combine the disciplined perspective of an Augustinian Deacon with 15 years of hands-on teaching experience in the heart of Southeast Asia. My classes are a 'mix' of deep Philosophy, Sacred Theology, and the History of Humanities. Whether we are discussing Geopolitics or Art, my Montessori background ensures a student-centered journey that turns 'dry' facts into a life-changing understanding of our global community.

I have been a teacher of all Social Studies for over 20 years in five countries. I teach AP, A-Level, IGCSE, and IB History, Geography, Economics, and Sociology. I can also speak Chinese if needed, as well as Spanish, but would prefer to teach in English. I not only focus on content, but also teach the skills necessary for success in Humanities.

My areas of expertise span the social sciences, including geography, history, anthropology, social studies, sociology, English, public speaking, speech arts, and socialization skills. In our journey through life, we dedicate significant time to learning, yet often find ourselves lacking a true comprehension of what and why we learn. My mission is to ignite curiosity and provide a fresh perspective on the significance of our learning endeavors, grounded in anthropological principles. I hold a Master of Science in Archaeology from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of British Columbia. I have a background in Speech Arts and hold a Grade 6 level Certificate from the Royal Conservatory (RCM). I firmly believe that learning is a voyage of discovery, enabling us to delve deeper into the mysteries of our world. I advocate for learning as a vital tool in navigating life's challenges. I pride myself on my patience, passion, and lightheartedness. I am based on Hong Kong Island.

I teach social studies (Asian Studies, World History, Economics, and Current Events) and have an academic background in teaching politics and social sciences. I promote social thinking, citizenship, and critical thinking among students.

I am a well-trained educator specialized in Social Studies for GED students. I have been teaching social studies since I obtained a diploma in Federalism and Inclusive Governance, and I also have experience as a Youth Peace Ambassador. Furthermore, I earned a diploma in Educational Leadership, Pedagogy, and Technology from the University of Taxila in 2024. Currently, I am teaching GED social studies at an online international school where 20 percent of my students received the highest scores (200 out of 200) and 100 percent passed. I am currently residing in Chiang Mai.
