I am a non-practising solicitor and Senior Specialist Legal Editor at Thomson Reuters, working on the Practical Law platform. I previously practiced as a Real Estate Solicitor, advising high-net-worth clients on complex land law and property transactions. With years of hands-on legal experience and a deep understanding of both academic and practical aspects of land law, I offer clear, exam-focused tutoring for undergraduate, LPC, and SQE students. I am also a published author and experienced presenter, known for making difficult legal concepts accessible and engaging. I have been a university law lecturer for five years! No student is the same! I am particular about what works for each individual, learning about their strengths and weaknesses, and helping them work on these. I maximize my transferable skills more when I understand my students and their needs. This results in bringing out the best in every student! I am an excellent tutor and research assistant for Law of Equity and Trust, Land Law, Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Family Law, Law of Evidence, and Law of Torts. I participate in moot court trials of students by acting as a judge in their courtroom sessions. I also help students review their assessments with feedback and guide them on how to write a good and well-structured essay. In the process, I help them improve their legal writing skills and assist them in conforming to the "Oscola" referencing style. I particularly assist them with being more critical than descriptive in their analysis of case studies. I completed my LLB with first-class honours at the London School of Economics before pursuing my Master's (BCL) at Oxford. I received subject prizes (i.e., ranked first in class) for contract, tort, company and intellectual property law throughout my four years of law school. Alongside those modules, I also received firsts in medical, family, property (land and trusts) and EU law.
