I teach mathematics and physics. I am situated in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. I have not always been strong in maths and physics, but through perseverance and hard work, I got there. I also believe that people can achieve great things provided they work for it! I understand the troubles that students experience and know different ways to approach problems.

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Science, majoring in Statistics, from NUS and obtained two master's degrees - Master's in Mathematics and Applied Modeling with Highest Honors from the Engineering School Polytech Nice Sophia, and Master's in Science, majoring in Computer Science, with mostly High Distinctions from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. I have taught students from various universities, including SIM, NUS, SUSS, SUTD, NTU in Singapore; University of Waseda in Japan; and University of Minnesota in the US. Most of my students take lessons in Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science from me. Additionally, I have experience teaching subjects at the High School/Junior College level, mostly in the same subjects. Due to my location, I am only able to teach online (unless in the central area). Since the start of the COVID pandemic, almost all of my students have been receiving online lessons.

In Chemistry, I support students with conceptual understanding, calculations, mechanisms, practical skills, data analysis, and exam technique. In Mathematics, I focus on fluency, logical reasoning, problem-solving, and tackling unfamiliar questions with confidence. My aim is not only to help students answer questions correctly, but also to help them think more clearly, study more effectively, and become more independent learners.
