Additionally, I also teach higher-level mathematics, science, and psychology. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Literature Studies with a concentration in Mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Science in Business Analytics and Data Science from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Charter University. I am also a Certified Career Counselor and a Certified Career Analyst, as well as a Google Certified Education Coach. Additionally, I possess a TEFL Certification and a Cambridge TKT Diploma. I am certified in many Google, Microsoft, IBM digital, AI, and ML products.

I received an A* for A Level Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. I also earned 5 AP Calculus credits on the American Examination. I excelled in SAT Math with a score of 1500. Additionally, I scored an A in STPM Math. I have recently updated my knowledge to the latest Cambridge A Level syllabus. To date, I have tutored over 100 students in Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Mandarin, and Math.

I am a former international school student born in Hong Kong and raised between Hong Kong, Beijing, and New York. After graduating from Columbia University with a degree in Political Science and Economics, I joined the Teach For America program (against the wishes of my parents who had hoped I'd go into finance) and taught a variety of subjects including mathematics, chemistry, and biology. I also ran my school's after-school SAT tutoring program. As an educator, my background is in High School special education and Middle School general education. But where my strength lies is in my ability to help students understand their goals and how best to achieve them. I empathize with the high pressure and results-oriented environment students have to perform in, especially in Hong Kong, and try my best to approach all my lessons with this in mind.
