Hello! I have been teaching and tutoring students for over 15 years. I tailor my lessons to the learning style and needs of each student to ensure they truly grasp the material. I have honed this individualized approach through years of small group and one-on-one tutoring. I have over twenty years of experience in language acquisition and Spanish-English interpretation/translation. I tutor students in Spanish at all levels, including IB Test Prep, AP Test Prep, and Spanish I-IV. Additionally, I have taught Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies at various levels. I tutor students in Houston, preferably in the southwest and west areas.

I am a native Spanish speaker who fast-tracked both my GCSE and A-Level exams and achieved A* in both. Having recently completed my own exams, I have an in-depth understanding of the curriculum in exam boards such as AQA and Edexcel. I always strive for my students to learn through interactive forms that they enjoy, so that I can transmit my passion for the language. Hello, my name is Emmie! I love everything about the Spanish language and Spanish speaking cultures. My Spanish journey began in high school and has developed with studying abroad in Costa Rica, volunteering in Ecuador, and a mission trip to Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.
