I Am Currently Studying Veterinary Science At The University Of Adelaide, After Taking A Gap Year, In Which I Worked Part-time As A Maths, Science, And English Tutor To Secondary School Students. As An Experienced Tutor, I Understand The Importance Of Tailoring Each And Every Session To The Child's Needs. However, In General, I Make Use Of Many Types Of Explanations As I Have Found That In Most Cases The Child Just Needs The Problem Explained In Another Way. I Like To Make Use Of Diagrams, Interactive Quizzes, And Practice Problems In Particular. Additionally, In Order To Make The Lesson Interesting, I Attempt To Make The Practice Problems They Complete Related To Something They Are Interested In. For Example, In 2019 I Had A Student That Was Particularly Interested In Horse Riding And Was Requiring Help In Mathematics, I Made Sure That The Practice Problems I Provided Involved Horse Riding Situations In Order To Make It More Engaging For The Student.
