I am an enthusiastic and experienced Science teacher, specialising in i/GCSE and Pre-IGCSE sciences. As a former teacher with over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience, I worked at international and top Band 1 DSS schools in Hong Kong and have taught students from GSIS, SIS, YCIS, DGS, SPCC, CAIS, HKUGAC, Good Hope, AIS.
I bring a global perspective to my teaching, shaped by years of experience in both the UK and Hong Kong. I believe teaching is more than what we teach, but also how students learn and think. Holding a master's degree in education, I developed clear systems grounded in the science of learning to cater for individual student needs and ensure growth. For Year 7-9, my teaching focuses on inquiry-based teaching, which emphasises student autonomy and agency.
For exam prep, I always start by ensuring that students have understood and grasped the concepts. I devote a significant amount of time to enhancing examination skill to ensure effective application of knowledge. Read less
