I am Farhan Yusuf Khan, an international undergraduate student at the University of Hong Kong currently studying Computer Science. During my high school, I studied in the British Curriculum and sat for Cambridge O Levels and A Levels Examinations, achieving A*/As. Since I have studied in the British Curriculum my entire life, I am fluent in English and knowledgeable in international curriculum. I have also been learning programming for more than 4 years and have experience in coding with Python, C/C++. I also have experience with competitive programming and qualified for the national round of the Programming Olympiad in my home country. I believe I can help students delve deep into this broad and intriguing field.

I am currently working as a Student Teaching Assistant at the University of Hong Kong, where I help students enrolled in the Computer Programming I course with programming problems. In Hong Kong, I have taught programming in Python to grade 5 and grade 3 students from KCIS Hong Kong. I have also co-founded a Coding Club in high school where we taught programming and computer science to interested peers.

I have prior experience teaching programming to my fellow peers. I believe that the best way to learn programming is to learn how to apply it in any scenario possible. My methodology towards this belief is to make fellow programming beginners solve programming problems frequently during the learning phase. This helps improve their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as their self-learning ability, which is critical when learning programming. Read less
