Questions for You

Q: What teaching methods do you use to help students learn Math concepts and solve problems?

I have several teaching methods to motivate and enlighten students in Maths, classes are engaging and dynamic from Past exam paper techniques, preparation, Textbook and practical in class excersises with homework.

Q: Do you have experience with online teaching platforms or virtual tutoring, and what is your preferred method of communication with students?

I have a wide range of expirience with virtual tutoring. I am accustomed to using platforms such as ZOOM and Google meet. Such platforms allow for sharing of textbook and Past paper material on the screen during class and watsapp/email contacts are good for confirming and adjusting class schedules when necessary.

Q: What Math topics or concepts are you particularly skilled in teaching, and how do you keep up to date with changes in the curriculum?

I am family with every single topic from algebra, geometry, equations, trigonometry, graphs. I am even familiar with several curriculums such as Cambridge, SAT, CAPS, IEB and NSC.

Q: How do you communicate with parents about their child's progress and any challenges they may be facing in learning Math?

Every month, two times per month there are scheduled times to submit Feedback reports regularly to advise parents on learners progress.

Q: Do you provide any additional resources or materials to supplement your lessons, such as practice exercises or online tutorials?

Yes there are several methods which are used to cross check students understanding and progress such as full library of materials and resources such as textbooks, numerous past exam paper questions with additional pdf documentation for specific topics all available.

Q: What is your approach to homework assignments, and how do you ensure students understand the concepts covered in class?

I have several techniques which not only motivate and encourage participation in and out of class as well as assignment assistance with homework revision exercise activities.

Q: What steps do you take to ensure that your teaching approach is compatible with the student's learning style?

I have had the benefit of tutoring students of all ages and different ethnic backgrounds in several different subjects. My ability to prepare classes with relevant subject content and also keep the learner engaged makes me able to adjust the pace of the class.

Q: Do you have experience working with students with learning disabilities or special needs, and how do you adapt your teaching methods to accommodate their needs?

Yes I am patient enough and have been fortunate enough to work with many different special needs students some with condititions such as HDAD and dyslexia. One of my students who was born prematurely was awarded with the most improved student award.
