Questions for You

Q: What teaching methods do you use to help students learn Math concepts and solve problems?

I follow a practical approach were I give the student a set of problems to calculate after which I can see where the student struggles. After the problem area's are identified I will help the student properly understand the section before moving with more problems.

Q: Do you have experience with online teaching platforms or virtual tutoring, and what is your preferred method of communication with students?

I have experience with online teaching, but as a student and a tutor I still prefer face to face communication.

Q: What Math topics or concepts are you particularly skilled in teaching, and how do you keep up to date with changes in the curriculum?

I am fully proficient in every math topic in CAPS curriculum. Changes in the curriculum is not a big issue, I will just focus on the parts that has become a bigger part of the year-end tests.

Q: How do you communicate with parents about their child's progress and any challenges they may be facing in learning Math?

I am open to communicating with parents about their child's progress and what challenges they are facing, but I also believe in providing a solution to those challenges to the best of my and the students abilities.

Q: Do you provide any additional resources or materials to supplement your lessons, such as practice exercises or online tutorials?

I provide practice questions and summaries of the content.

Q: What is your approach to homework assignments, and how do you ensure students understand the concepts covered in class?

My approach to homework assignments is circumstantial. To make sure students understand the concepts, they will first have to explain it to me. If they are a bit lost I will help them to proper understand the concepts.

Q: What steps do you take to ensure that your teaching approach is compatible with the student's learning style?

I believe that every person has their own method of learning. I am willing to adapt to the students needs so that they can have a better and more effective learning experience.

Q: Do you have experience working with students with learning disabilities or special needs, and how do you adapt your teaching methods to accommodate their needs?

I change my teaching methods to better suit each student.
