Hi, I'm Sasha and I've been actively teaching music for the last 10 years. I'm very passionate about music and guitar in particular, and it brings me a lot of joy to be able to share this passion. I enjoy being able to explain a musical topic well, working on it together with a student, and seeing them grow into the musician they aspire to be. I don't think everybody who is a good musician can be a good teacher, and I've certainly had some bad teachers in my life, so I make sure to be on the top of my game professionally and pedagogically.

It is important for me to have a comfortable and friendly atmosphere during lessons, set individual goals based on musical tastes, and have a structured, personalized approach. Music is not science and it's not precise in its nature; there is no wrong or right way of learning it - just the one that works for you. This is something that I experience myself on a daily basis as I keep practising on my instrument and keep discovering new things about myself. This is also something we will do during our lessons, so prepare to send me your favourite songs. It should also be fun - I'll do my best to take care of that.

I value a personalized approach. During our first class, and at any point later if needed, we will discuss the reason you want to learn guitar, make realistic goals and come up with a plan to reach them. Lesson topics will then be chosen to progressively build up to that goal. When learning music, a student's own work at home is very important; we will discuss different practising approaches and I will help you build a practice routine that makes you better but keeps it fun.
