Hi, I’m an experienced and approachable tutor based in the Netherlands, offering support in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, English, and Geography. I have been studying at the British School in the Netherlands since Year 8 and am familiar with both the British curriculum and the IB.

I achieved 8s and 9s in 11 GCSE subjects, including all three sciences, Maths, English Language and Literature, Geography, Dutch, Drama, Photography, and Bengali. In the IB, I was predicted a 43, with 7s in Higher Level Biology and Chemistry, and a 6 in Higher Level Maths.

Over the past three years, I have worked with students at various levels. My approach centres on developing both subject understanding and strong exam technique. This combination has proven effective: I have personally gone from 4s and 5s in Year 10 to mostly 9s by the end of Year 11. More importantly, I’ve supported students in doing the same. One student I worked with improved from a grade 3 to a grade 7 in just five months. I am also currently tutoring a Year 10 student who is consistently achieving 8s and 9s in sciences, English, and Geography.

I tailor each session to meet the student’s needs and learning goals. I am flexible with scheduling and always make an effort to provide extra support around exam time. I combine clear explanations with active recall and targeted exam practice to make sure students truly understand and retain what they learn. I provide tailored materials, including flashcards and exam questions, and assign light but focused homework to reinforce each lesson.

Each session is adapted to the student’s learning style. I revisit key topics regularly to build long-term memory and ensure consistent progress.
