I am a "TOPIK Coach" specializing in vocabulary, grammar, and TOPIK preparation for the 2+2 program course (international class) as a senior professor of Korean major for 10 years at a university in China.

I currently reside in Changwon, Gyeongsangnamdo, Korea, and would like to offer online classes for students aiming to achieve TOPIK levels 5-6. Particularly, I can provide intensive instruction on problem-solving methods for each type of listening, reading, and writing. In principle, classes are limited to two people per week and are held within 4 hours to ensure quality. For students living abroad, I also offer guidance for local visits within 3 weeks, utilizing the vacation period twice a year.

I hold a second-degree Korean language teacher certificate and am also a poet. Drawing from abundant resources and experience in academic Korean language and advanced Korean language education, I can assist graduate students in improving their advanced academic Korean skills, such as classical reading, modern literature, current affairs Korean, and thesis guidance.

Regardless of nationality, age, or gender, if you outline your purpose, level, and area of interest for studying Korean, I will help you establish a learning plan to achieve your goals. However, if you wish to advance in Korean, you should be able to understand some of the classes conducted in Korean. While English, Chinese, and Japanese can be used as supplementary languages, I adhere to a "target-oriented class" principle where classes are preferably conducted in Korean.

My teaching method is "self-directed learning" as a rule. I don't use rote memorization to read or memorize. For example, I set the goal of achieving a TOPIK score of 30 points every three months and 50 points every six months. I use the method of reducing the percentage of incorrect answers in the same type of question by keeping a note of any incorrect answers. Read less
