Questions for You

Q: What level of Japanese proficiency do you teach, and do you specialize in any particular aspect of the language (e.g., speaking, writing, listening, reading)?

I will teach Japanese from entry to beginner level, with the goal of helping students learn spoken language and reading simple words as a first step. Furthermore, the materials used in this lesson are also linked to the JLPT exam levels, so it would be a good idea to take the JLPT exam to check your learning achievement level: Beginner 1 (text book A2) - JLPT N5 Pre-intermediate (text book A2/B1) - JLPT N4

Q: What resources do you use to teach Japanese, and how do you integrate technology into your instruction?

The material used in the lessons, "Marugoto," is a well-balanced way to learn Japanese language and culture. Students learn about Japanese culture while touching on various topics related to Japan, such as travel, food, festivals, and manga.

Q: What kind of homework or practice assignments do you assign, and how do you ensure that students understand the material?

Basically not to suggest homework. We will make sure that lessons are fun and that students can continue learning without forcing themselves.

The materials used in this lesson are themed around Japanese life and culture, so you will naturally deepen your understanding as you study.

Q: What is your approach to teaching grammar, and how do you make it engaging for students?

The way studying grammar will vary depending on students ultimate goal, but we will start by learning and using basic example sentences from daily conversations.

Q: How do you incorporate speaking and listening practice into lessons?

Will focus on listening and speaking on basic Japanese conversation by each topic in the lesson.

Q: How do you help students build vocabulary, and what strategies do you use?
