Hello, I am a tutor from Edinburgh offering one-to-one lessons online to pupils in secondary school working towards GCSE, O level, A level, national 5, higher, advanced higher, International Baccalaureate examinations or in undergraduate studies in French language, grammar, and literature. I also offer lessons to children, teenagers or adults in reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, conversational and written French to individuals from beginners to the more advanced level

I have experience tutoring pupils in secondary and primary schools, as well as in undergraduate studies. I am English, although I lived many years in France and studied extensively in French language and literature. I hold a degree in French language and literature from Vassar College, the diplôme from the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris, and a Master's degree in classics and divinity from the University of Oxford.

I have over 7 years of experience teaching online French lessons to secondary and primary school pupils, as well as adults, with a focus on conversational French, beginner French, written French grammar and vocabulary, French literature, and English translation or work-related lessons. I am patient and sensitive to the individual requirements and interests of every student. I can provide references upon request.
