Questions for You

Q: What types of exams do you specialize in preparing students for?

SAT and ACT

Q: Do you offer diagnostic assessments to identify areas of weakness for each student?

I design personalized lesson plans using diagnostic tests to pinpoint weaknesses. I use “error log” systems for students to track and analyze recurring mistakes. I help students manage pacing. I teach them to allocate time wisely across sections, ensuring they complete as many questions as possible with accuracy.

Q: Do you provide study materials or recommend additional resources for students?

Of course. I have all the College Board and ACT exams. In addition, I have downloaded both reading and math problem sets [easy, medium and hard] from the SAT exam bank. I have dozens of pdfs and websites for homework help.

Q: Do you offer mock exams or practice tests to simulate exam conditions?

Yes. See above.

Q: Do you provide online coaching sessions or only in-person sessions?

Online only

Q: Do you provide guidance on time management and study strategies?

Yes. See above.

Q: Can you provide guidance on managing stress during the exam period?

My approach is the following ... Organize and plan: Coach students on how to organize materials, schoolwork and create weekly plans and prioritize tasks. Manage time: Teach students how to estimate task duration, create schedules, and meet deadlines. Improve focus and attention: Help students identify and manage distractions, maintain focus for extended periods, and get started on tasks. Address emotional regulation: Assist students in managing anxiety, stress, and other emotions that can interfere with their work. Promote self-monitoring: Encourage self-reflection and help students learn to adapt their strategies based on their performance. Break down tasks: Teach students how to break down large assignments into smaller, more manageable steps.
