I am a student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) Business School, majoring in Information Systems. I am also a graduate of ESF West Island School, where I achieved a Level 7 in IB Economics Higher Level and a Grade 9 / A* in IGCSE Economics.

I specialise in tutoring IGCSE and IB Economics across Hong Kong. Having recently excelled in these same exams, I understand exactly where students struggle — whether it's mastering diagrams, applying economic theories to real-world examples, or structuring evaluation essays.

My teaching style is clear, structured, and exam-focused. I break down complex topics (elasticity, market failure, macro policies) into simple, visual steps. I emphasise real-world application — using news examples, case studies, and past paper scenarios so students don't just memorise definitions but actually understand how Economics works.

I teach students how to draw, label, and explain every key Economics diagram with confidence. We apply theory to real-world news examples (inflation, unemployment, trade) so evaluation becomes natural. Exam technique includes past paper drills, command word breakdown, and timed essays. I adapt to each student, focusing on their weakest topics first.

I also provide plenty of resources, e.g., a real-world example bank, key notes, model answers, and practice questions/past papers for student use. Read less
