Hi there! I’m a writer, editor, and teacher based in Amsterdam, specialising in English language learning and writing. My background combines university-level teaching with years of professional experience in journalism, advertising writing and literary publishing, which means I bring both academic structure and practical, real-world language skills into every lesson.

I believe learning should be fun, and that the possibilities of language should feel exciting rather than intimidating. The best lessons are when students feel engaged and confident, so I aim to create a relaxed environment and lessons that are genuinely interesting.

Whether you’re looking to strengthen your academic or professional writing, prepare for exams, or simply feel more comfortable expressing yourself in English, I adapt lessons to suit your individual goals and pace.

Alongside teaching, I work professionally as a writer and editor. I’ve taught comparative literature and creative writing at university level, worked closely with students as senior thesis writing instructor, and spent years editing manuscripts and helping writers shape and strengthen their work.
