Hello, I am Raphael. I teach mathematics and biology. I am currently living in Happy Valley, Hong Kong. I studied in the UK for five years, where I achieved 99999999998 for my IGCSEs and A*A*A*A for my A levels, including an A* in mathematics and an A in further mathematics. I believe in constant interaction between student and teacher, rather than simply talking at the student, which may result in them not absorbing the information. I also believe that regular practice and hands-on work are essential for progress and development, especially in mathematics. I am a calm teacher who enjoys discussing problems with students, and I really like interacting with them, not just showing them how to do a question. I encourage students to ask me questions so that I can better explain parts where they may be confused. I often ask students what they would like to work on, and then do a deep dive into that topic so that they become skilled enough to solve related questions. Once they feel confident in the topic, we will do some exam questions together. Read less
