I'm an experienced Tutor living in Johannesburg. I attended the University of the Witwatersrand for both my undergrad and honours year. I averaged 60% for undergrad and 64% for my honours year. I'm currently doing my articles training at a Bank. I'm deeply invested in the lives of my students due to the passion I have for teaching. In my spare time I tutor for FirstHope, a CSI aimed at tutoring the kids of the less fortunate. I aim to be passionate and effective with my tutoring so students get as much out of it as possible. I don't mind doing prep-work eg. Going through papers before the lesson so we have common ground on the task at hand. I tutor the big 4 accounting subjects( Financial Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Auditing), however I do also tutor Economics 1 at a Varsity level. At a school level I tutor grade 11 and 12 Accounting.

I have 13+ years of experience in teaching at the college level and 3+ years of industry experience in accounting. I have taught subjects such as financial accounting, management accounting, and financial management to both graduates and undergraduates. I hold an MBA in Finance, a Bachelor's in Commerce, and have completed a CMA par course in management and cost accounting from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWAI). Additionally, I have taken a course in international business from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, USA. Currently, I am teaching accounting, management accounting, cost accounting, and financial management to graduate and undergraduate students. I also teach accounting and business studies to secondary level school students following the IGCSE and A Level British curriculum, as well as accounting and business for CBSE.
