Hi my dear students! I am your Teacher Kim from the Philippines. I taught different age level from preschool until post-graduates. I do tutors for kindergarten and elementary. I had a full-time job in senior high school and college, and a part-time instructor in a review center for board examination here in the Philippines. I teach students with great patience, and I entertain questions in a way that makes them feel comfortable and not embarrassed to ask.

I am a Chemical Engineering student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology who completed IB Chemistry. I have connections with several IB Chemistry teachers and examiners, and I have access to many documents and practice papers created by IB examiners to assist students with their Chemistry studies.

My name is Aneesa. I have been a student at the University of the Witwatersrand for the last 10 years, pursuing degrees in Chemistry. I have my BSc (2016-2018), Hons (2019), and Masters (2020 - 2022) degrees in chemistry. I have spent the last three years conducting chemistry lab research towards a doctoral degree in chemistry, but have decided to take a break from my studies. I would like to keep in touch with chemistry and feel like tutoring is an excellent way to do that. While completing my postgraduate degrees, I was assigned both tutoring and demonstrating students, thus I have 5+ years of experience. I was also part of ChemSoc, an affordable tutoring program that PG students ran in the school of chemistry for undergraduate students, specifically first year students. I have always loved chemistry since I first started working with it in school. I find it fascinating and enjoy helping others understand it and improve their grades, whether to pass or achieve a high grade, based on their goals. I am patient and dedicated. I do not expect you to know everything during the lesson. If you make a mistake, I will correct you. If you do not know, I will explain or teach it to you. I prefer students to send me questions in advance that they would like to tackle during the lesson. However, if they are uncertain, I can provide questions from my side that we can work on or we can simply have an overview lesson where I break down the topic and concepts. I like to use a whiteboard, chalkboard, or paper while solving problems with the student. We can do mock tests, work on past papers, or practice many examples. I recommend one lesson a week to help the student stay on top of their work and not fall behind. If a student would like more than one lesson a week, that is fine with me. I am available Monday through Sunday. I have an open calendar this year and would love to have lessons at a time that is most convenient for you. I graduated from IBDP with a score of 43/45, including a 7/7 in Biology HL, Chemistry HL, Environmental Systems & Societies SL, and Mathematics SL. I also achieved an A for my Extended Essay on Biology. As a recent graduate from an IB school, I understand the struggles that every IB student faces from MYP to DP. Two years of IGCSE tutoring experience as well as one year of IB tutoring. I did HL physics, maths AA, chemistry and Chinese B; as well as SL Eng Lang lit & econ in IB and achieved 43/45. I am currently a CUHK Medicine student. I prefer face to face tutoring as it is more effective however online teaching is also fine. I can offer help for the above subjects including IAs and EEs concerning those subjects.

I have taught chemistry in the United States, China, Taiwan, and Bangkok at the college level and in nternational schools for 15 years. I have taught IB, A-Level, and AP curricula, as well as chemistry and biochemistry at the college level. I have a Ph.D. in chemistry, and in my teaching I focus on making sure students understand the underlying concepts of the material we are learning. I use scaffolding techniques and teaching-by-analogy, which allows students to ground new concepts in experiences they already understand. Almost all of my teaching experience has been with second-language learners of English, and so I've developed approaches to help students understand complex concepts in simple language. I have taught physics in the past, as well as biochemistry, and so I can help students contextualize their chemistry content into a broader understanding of physical and life sciences.
