Hi! I’m Amy and I’m a 22-year old science degree graduate living in North Yorkshire. I have a strong grasp of many subjects but specialise in teaching English and also biology. I have an A* in GCSE English language and literature, and have a year's experience as an English teacher working for a company over Skype to teach Overseas students English. I am therefore also skilled at teaching English to non-native speakers, and regularly conduct lessons that prepare students for their IELTS exams and similar, and am extremely familiar with techniques and strategies for this course. I teach English at primary, GCSE and A-level, along with English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) - and Biology up to GCSE level. - Where do I teach? I teach online which is an area I have great experience in and makes for incredible, flexible learning for busy students and parents. I also teach in-person in York, Thirsk, Northallerton and surrounding areas in North Yorkshire. - When am I available? Flexible. I am available throughout the week, mostly during evenings from 5pm, and all weekend from morning to evening. - Which ages and levels do I teach?
