Hi friends! I just finished the first year of my Bachelor of Education at York University in Toronto, and loved it! I have always enjoyed working with children and have a passion for learning and education. I know that the students of today are our future and we must nurture and encourage their growth in a positive way. This is what motivates me to become an educator. I most enjoy teaching English/ESL and would describe my teaching style as student-centred, fun, inclusive, and flexible. I am extremely patient and will break down lessons in ways that work for my students. My main goal as an educator is to teach students to feel confident in their knowledge and abilities and be able to work independently while developing a critical awareness of themselves and the world around them. I have worked with students with special needs and am passionate about promoting inclusion and diversity in all learning environments. Students' well-being is my priority, and I understand that life can be complicated sometimes. So, while I am here to teach, I am also here to support you mentally and emotionally and will understand if things come up.
