Born in Korea and raised in the US and Hong Kong, I am a lecturer and private educator dedicated to connecting people with the world of art, design, and culture through diverse educational experiences. With a background in promoting contemporary art within the Hong Kong art market and teaching Design History at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, I have steadily built my professional and academic career in Hong Kong. I am currently planning to pursue a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) while training at an international secondary school. I hold an M.A. in Art History and a B.A. in Product Design. In my spare time, I enjoy training my intelligent Border Collie and participating in fun activities such as dog sports dance. I also volunteer for the Dr. Dog program organized by Animals Asia.

Whether it is to grow their confidence in handling a particular medium, developing ideas, experimenting with materials, or wanting to develop skills in a specific area, I am able to draw the best out of my students in order to ensure they fulfill their creative potential. I teach fine art skills such as drawing, painting with oil and acrylics, printing, and various mixed media approaches. Additionally, I teach both film and digital photography, editing, and post-production using Adobe software such as Photoshop and Lightroom. Based in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok, I can travel to support students at their homes.
