Hi, I am Richard. I am a university student attending University of Surrey, majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I am a graduate from an ESF International School and have taken the IB Diploma pathway. I studied Physics and Chemistry at a Higher level and achieved a final grade of 37 IB. I am able to teach Maths and Sciences ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 9.

My name is Abhiyendra. I was previously teaching students in UAE full-time for 2 years in person and currently teach students online from UAE, Singapore and Italy. I hold a BTech & MTech in Mathematics and Computing from IIT Delhi which is the best college in India for Engineering. I am interested in equipping the youth with the necessary mathematical skills required in the real world and in further studies. I enjoy showing students that Math has applications and is not there to make their lives difficult. For example, Trigonometry is used in Triangulation whereby the location of an object is determined. I am good at diagnosing students' problem areas and from there I customise lessons to how the student thinks. I can explain the same concept in at least three different ways.

Focus directly on the mathematics and avoid getting stuck in the jargon and notation. I am currently studying technology-assisted teaching based on computer algebra systems and artificial intelligence. These are very advantageous in online teaching situations and using scenario-based mathematical instruction.

Teaching to me is about mentoring, building confidence, and motivating the students in order to help them understand the subject. Once they have a grasp on it, they will likely enjoy it and continue to practice it beyond the classroom. I believe that tutoring complements the work done in school by giving students an extra tool to help them achieve higher levels of understanding and success.
