I am incredibly passionate about mathematics and helping people understand it better. I have been an official teaching assistant for universities for more than 3 years, specifically for multivariate and vector calculus, continuum mechanics, and some physics. I have also been tutoring privately for just as long, having had several students while finishing my own degree. I am particularly skilled in tutoring real analysis, multivariate and single-variable calculus, vector calculus, differential equations, and general introductory mathematics at an undergraduate level. Additionally, I am skilled at teaching virtually any high school mathematics and have been doing so for at least 4 years. Regarding my qualifications, I obtained my Bachelor's and Bachelor Honour's degree (Cum Laude) in mathematics and applied mathematics, and I have graduated from my Master's degree in mathematics (specializing in algebra, geometry, and number theory) at Leiden University in 2025. I am currently a Data and Cloud Engineer, but still have a big passion for teaching in my spare time!

I am patient, competent, and objective. I have been tutoring since my final year of university, and that's when I realized I have a passion for helping others excel in mathematics. Not only am I proficient in the subjects I wish to tutor, but I also thoroughly enjoy witnessing the moment when individuals grasp a concept and their faces light up with understanding. Moreover, I strongly believe that if someone possesses a talent, it should be shared rather than concealed. I have always loved math and science, and I enjoy sharing that passion through teaching. I find it extremely rewarding when a student finally understands a concept that once felt impossible. I strive to make lessons engaging, supportive, and stress-free so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My aim is to build both confidence and strong academic foundations in every student I teach. I am based in Woodleigh/Serangoon but would be more than happy to travel to the student's place for lessons.

With 8 years of experience, I am a dedicated and enthusiastic high school Mathematics teacher. I held the role of Mathematics head for four years at an American School in Bangkok, which also adheres to the IB Curriculum. Furthermore, I taught Pure Mathematics and Additional Mathematics in a British school in Dhaka. Currently, I am contributing to the education sector in Ontario, teaching at a private school that follows both the Ontario curriculum and the IB Curriculum.
