Hello! I am Anandi, or you can call me Annie. I am half Filipino and half Indian, born and raised in Thailand. Currently, I am a university student pursuing a BSC in Biomedical Sciences. This is my last year, and I am on track to graduate with First Class Honours. I possess extensive knowledge in various sciences, and English has always been my first language, both in conversational and academic settings. As a student myself, I understand the importance of making learning enjoyable and informative.

I am an experienced and fully qualified "Outstanding" QTS teacher, an NCFE Level 5 TESOL instructor, and a Chartered Chemical Engineer educated to the level of a Master's degree from a Russell Group university. I have worked in both primary and secondary schools and have over 5 years of successful (one-to-one, group, and online) tutoring experience of primary, secondary, and A-level students. I also provided one-to-one tuition to a Year 6 pupil, and by changing his attitude towards learning and developing his independent learning skills, I helped him reach his and his parents' goal of passing the entrance exams for a highly reputable private school in North London. I am a graduate of Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in Creative Writing, currently based in Quezon City. I enjoy writing and communicating, as well as refining both of those skills to be as concise as possible. I also like helping others with their writing. My goal is not for everyone to write like me or write what I want, but to discover their own style and skillset, appreciate it, and improve until they are satisfied with their work. I am patient with people because I know what it's like to feel frustrated and not make progress. I believe in a down-to-earth, caring but assertive teaching style. I also believe that to be a good writer, one needs to be a good reader. I would like to develop reading comprehension skills alongside writing skills, as I feel that reading comprehension and analysis are underrepresented and underappreciated among students.
