I am an English teacher with over 10 years of experience. Currently, I work at a major international school based in Bahrain and primarily teach learners at the middle school and IGCSE/GCSE levels. My specializations are linguistics and literature, and I currently cover the Cambridge curriculum, although I am also familiar with the Edexcel and AQA curricula.

I believe that the key to success is building rapport with students and truly understanding them on an individual basis. Whether it's comprehension, writing compositions, or spoken English, I strive to see improvement in my students.

Previously, I worked at the British Council Bahrain for just under 5 years, where I provided classes to a wide range of students, from ages 5 to 17 as well as adults. During this time, I developed a large portfolio of my own lessons and lesson plans, while also focusing on my own professional development. The types of classes I taught included general English, business English, and IELTS.

Currently, I am teaching both Language and Literature using the Cambridge curriculum to years 9, 10, and 11. My lessons incorporate activities with differentiation and engaging tasks to keep the learners motivated. اقرأ أقل
