Working with schoolage students has been a longtime passion of mine. It is fulfilling to see how far students can go with the right attitude, encouragement, and focus. I have background with tutoring elementary and middle school age students for 5 years and have worked with the youth population for over 10.

Currently, I reside near Oakland in the Bay Area. Although I have taught multiple subjects, I primarily tutor English, Reading & Writing Comprehension. I also assist with Study/Organizational skills.

Having the privilege of assisting many students, I have come to realize and acknowledge that students will have different learning styles and various comprehension levels. Being flexible is key to effective tutoring to ensure the the student is retaining the information shared.
