Hello! My name is Audrey 津兒 and I grew up bilingually, speaking both Cantonese and English since I was a child. I am currently majoring in Japanese Studies and Psychology at the University of Vienna, Austria, and therefore, would prefer online lessons as I am only in Hong Kong until March (for semester break).

I love learning languages and teach English and Chinese regularly every week in Vienna using English and German as the medium of instruction (I speak fluent German). I take great joy in passing on my knowledge, and I love discovering new ways of thinking through teaching. My students often inspire me in ways I never thought possible.

Apart from university and tutoring, I enjoy painting, reading, and socializing with friends. I am currently learning French and Japanese and understand the difficulty of learning a different language. I have a good feel for languages and am confident in helping my students make connections between concepts to help them understand new knowledge better, instead of forcing them to memorize details. اقرأ أقل

I always urge my students to practice pronouncing and formulating sentences on their own, and assist them in building their vocabulary through active participation.
