Clement is a Year 3 undergraduate at Nanyang Technological University, currently studying Chemistry and Environmental Science. I graduated with an MEng Honours degree in Materials Science from the University of Oxford. With a strong academic record, I am well-grounded in the key elements of applied Chemistry, Physics, and Maths, and understand the tools and techniques required to succeed in examinations and applications up to this level, including 11+ and 13+ common entrance exams. I have experience tutoring international school students in science and mathematics based on the UK Curriculum in Hong Kong. Before that, I supported Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) activities in a school environment as part of The Flying Start Challenge, a competition for students in Year 7 to Year 9. In this role, I taught the fundamentals of flight and assisted groups with their project work. I have experience teaching in front of large classes, as well as providing support to smaller groups. I am an IB graduate, completed my UK medical degree and working as a doctor. I have been in UK since I was 16 years old, achieving excellent grades in iGCSE (A* in physics/ chemistry/ biology/ maths) and IB (HL Chem 7, biology 7, psychology 6, maths SL 7). I enjoy teaching and find it rewarding when I am able to inspire others to want to learn more.
