I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines, and also earned a Master of Sciences in Chemistry from the same university. Additionally, I received professional certificates in Advanced Chemistry from the University of Kentucky (USA), Teaching in University Science Laboratories (Developing Best Practice) from the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Sustainability and Climate Change from the University of Edinburgh (United Kingdom), Teaching and Learning with Modern ICTs from the University of the Philippines-Open University, and Patent Drafting and Intellectual Property Rights from the University of the Philippines Los Baños-Center for Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship. With excellent communication skills, I have been teaching general chemistry, university chemistry, organic chemistry, environmental chemistry, pollution chemistry, pesticide chemistry, and biochemistry courses at the Institute of Chemistry, University of the Philippines for 14 years. I am a lifetime member of the Kapisanang Kimika ng Pilipinas-Southern Luzon (Chemical Society of the Philippines) and a member of the UPLB Natural Products Research and UPLB Chemical AA (alumni association).
