I graduated from HKU Law and HKU PCLL, and was a top scorer of HKDSE (the local university entrance exam), achieving 5* out of 5** for Chinese, i.e., 6 out of 7 marks. I have 6-7 years of tutoring experience, working with students from different schools and backgrounds. Some of my students study in local schools with parents who may not be native Chinese speakers, while many attend international schools such as CIS, VSA, CDNIS, and I have even assisted a student in gaining admission to Li Po Chun. I do not have a standardized teaching method, but I am happy to discuss with parents (and students, if possible) regarding their expectations for the classes. I believe that customizing the classes based on individual student's needs is much more effective and helpful, so I prefer to discuss with you over phone or by text to learn more about your student's learning style and needs before we work out a teaching method. Classical Chinese (wenyanwen 文言文): With profound knowledge of classical Chinese grammar, I can teach both native and non-native Chinese speakers interested in this ancient language. Due to the specialized nature of classical Chinese and its less common teaching, the price for this course is higher than others (negotiable).
