I have many years of multinational working experience in international finance and economics as senior manager with very large, leading multinational companies. As a believer of lifetime learning, I am now working as a part-time business consultant on projects for corporations, and so I have the time and flexibility in schedule to teach and share knowledge with students who need help on Economics, Finance or Accounting study, and how these are applied in real life work. I have previously worked in the US, UK, China and Hong Kong and so have a good understanding of how the international economy. I live in Hong Kong, and can speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese fluently. I have recruited and trained many fresh university graduates and young professionals during my career and am always interested in and eager to pass on what I learned all these years to help the students, just as how I had benefited tremendously from my inspiring teachers in high-school who made learning easy and interesting for me and prepared me well for my university education in the US.

I am an experienced tutor with 12 years of experience. I have taught both H1 and H2 students from almost every JC. Most of my students have achieved As and Bs during the A levels exams, and many have received offers from local universities. I am patient and dedicated, adapting my teaching style to meet the specific needs and weaknesses of each student. I believe that every student learns differently, so it is crucial to tailor lessons accordingly. When approaching examination periods, I take the initiative to focus on weaker areas, time management skills, and provide additional practice papers. During class, I incorporate daily examples and target areas of weakness. Before moving on to writing skills, application, and time management, I prioritize strengthening fundamental concepts. Additionally, I prepare concept notes, provide real-world examples, and mark extra essays outside of class. As the workload in JC is intensive, I do not believe in giving unnecessary work and aim to make the most of our time in class. Expect concise and direct lessons from me. However, I do expect students to complete assigned work, as every task is designed to strengthen foundations and concepts. I hold a B-Tech in Chemistry and B.Com in Economics and Risk Management. I have over 8 years of working experience in the field of chemistry. Hi everyone, I recently completed my undergraduate degree in Economics and Management at the University of Oxford, achieving a first-class honours. I will be pursuing a Masters in Economics at the University of Chicago after the summer. I am looking to teach Economics at the JC or undergraduate level, but am open to teaching other subjects at JC level as well, as I achieved straight As in my A' Level (Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Economics). I have helped teach fellow students in my course and I have been said to be able to explain complex concepts in an easily understandable manner, and illustrate the applicability of abstract theories on real-life scenarios.
