In my Grammar & Vocabulary class, I use various materials from course books such as the English File Series, National Geographic Outcomes Series, and grammar books like English Grammar in Use by Raymond Murphy. I have also created my own Google Slides to explain grammar points and verb tenses. As a teacher, I am patient, kind, and caring. I always prefer to use AUTHENTIC material: blogs, images, song lyrics, videos, poetry, etc.

I graduated with an MA in International History from the Graduate Institute of Geneva (Switzerland) and a BSocSc from the University of Hong Kong. I have experience as a tutor in both Hong Kong, Thailand, and Myanmar, including teaching English to Burmese refugees. My background is IB English but I have tutored IGCSE, TOEFL, SAT English, and IELTS, the latter of which I have achieved an 8.5.
