My name is Rusty and I've obtained a Juris Doctorate (First Class Honors) and PCLL from the City University of Hong Kong as well as a degree in international law from Nagoya University in Japan. I have previously worked in arbitration and mediation, and I am currently a pupil barrister training at one of Hong Kong's premier chambers under a pupil master specializing in criminal and administrative law. I have always been a good teacher, and often encouraged by my professors to go into academia.

Hi! I am a Canadian who has lived and worked in Thailand for 25 years. In Canada, I was a criminal trial lawyer and federal narcotics prosecutor before I decided to move to Thailand to teach. While at Assumption University (ABAC) as Deputy Director of the Institute for English Language Education, I co-founded the 'English for Law Students' program- a joint program between IELE and the Faculty of Law. I also lectured (part-time) at NIDA in the Faculty of Law M.A. program and was a part-time Adjunct Professor in the Ramkhamhaeng University Institute of International Studies (M.A. level Political Science). During my time in the private business sector in Thailand as a company GM, I have been mainly responsible for legal liaison between the company and other lawyers- Thai and international. When I worked in Suratthani, before moving to Bangkok, I taught special classes set up for government lawyers. I am available to help lawyers, law students, or anyone with legally related roles within their company with their understanding of legal concepts, vocabulary, and terminology, and proofreading of legal writing and documents. Although unrelated, I also happen to be a golf professional/instructor who played on the Asian Senior PGA Tour and the Asia-Pacific Champions Tour when I was younger- just in case you are interested in golf lessons as well. I live in downtown Bangkok and can tutor at my condo or anywhere in Metropolitan Bangkok.

I have recently graduated from Newcastle University with a First Class honours degree in Law (European Legal Studies) LL.B, which included a year abroad at KU Leuven. While here, I have studied over 20 different areas of law and have achieved at least 2:1 marks in all of them. I have also helped 4 people achieve firsts in Equity Law, where otherwise they would have failed. I am comfortable to teach: Land Law Criminal Law Equity Law EU Law Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism Law Competition Law Medical Law However, I am able to tutor in any subject I have taken.
