I am a CS PhD student at NUS, specializing in theoretical and algorithmic aspects of machine learning. I have an MSc in Maths and a BSc in CS and Maths. I have been a TA and private tutor for university level maths/CS since 2017. The subjects that I usually teach are proof-based maths (e.g., linear algebra, analysis, abstract algebra) or math-heavy ML/DS (optimization, advanced ML). I used to be active in mathematics and algorithms competitions many years ago, and would be happy to coach motivated primary and high school students. I am based in the Sengkang area, but I am happy to commute.

Hello! My name is Matt, and I'm originally from Pennsylvania in the United States. I've been teaching high school in various countries for the past 10 years, primarily at American International Schools. I've taught in both the American curriculum and the IB program, including at the AP and DP levels.
