Hi there! My name is Priya and I hold a Mathematics degree from the National University of Singapore. I have been tutoring since my university days and also worked in a private school teaching students in a classroom setting. I enjoy participating in extra-circular activities that involve mathematics or sports. In year 8 I entered the UK Maths challenge and achieved a silver certificate – a mere 5 points away from gold. I have participated in badminton tournaments against other schools and attended after school basketball and badminton clubs. I also take part in sports out of school; having attended boxing and badminton. Other sports I enjoy are basketball and cycling, which I try to do in my free time.

I am a qualified Maths teacher currently lecturing in GCSE Maths and Aeronautical Engineering, with degrees in both Aerospace Engineering and Teaching. I am becoming very popular with ONLINE students; I have invested in all the specialist equipment necessary to deliver tuition online. I of course also offer traditional face to face tuition. Doing this not only gets the student very familiar and experienced with what to expect in the exam but also flags up areas of weakness. These areas are then worked on specifically until full competence is shown. This means a typical lesson is made up of half general past paper, and half specific topic. Being a current serving GCSE Maths teacher, I have a wealth of up to date resources and curriculum/exam knowledge allowing me to focus tuition on exactly what is required to maximise results.
