Hello, there! I am Merian from Davao City. Teaching Math subject is not that easy because not everyone is fond of this subject. But I want to tell you something; you might probably notice that math is not all about numbers, but about how you will be able to cope with a solution to a problem. It is like practicing your mind to become wise, as I believe life is like a game, so as Math. As a tutor, I am dedicated and passionate about teaching those children who are not fond of this subject. I am a CS PhD student at NUS, specializing in theoretical and algorithmic aspects of machine learning. I have an MSc in Maths and a BSc in CS and Maths. I have been a TA and private tutor for university level maths/CS since 2017. The subjects that I usually teach are proof-based maths (e.g., linear algebra, analysis, abstract algebra) or math-heavy ML/DS (optimization, advanced ML).
