I was born in Yorkshire and at 18, I moved to Warwick in the heart of England to study Physics. After obtaining my BSc, I moved even further south, to London. During my PhD in Geoscience, I started private tutoring in science. After completing my PhD, I lectured for 1 year at University College London. In 2020, I relocated to Potsdam. I spent 2 years conducting research at the Deutsches GeoForschungsZentrum GFZ, and then, in 2023, I transitioned back to teaching. Currently, I teach science and yoga in Potsdam. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and helping them gain confidence in maths and science.

I am a British Korean who was raised and studied in the UK. I am a qualified medical doctor in the UK and have recently moved to Hong Kong, where I am currently taking a gap year. I graduated from Medical School at Imperial College London in 2020 and also achieved first-class honors in biomedical engineering Bsc. I attained 3A* and an A in my A-levels in the UK. I have extensive experience in teaching maths and sciences (biology, chemistry, physics) to a wide range of age groups, from 4 to 17 years old, and have taught seminars for group teaching. As part of my medical training, I have also completed teaching skills courses and been part of the medical school interview panels for five years. Being brought up in a traditional Korean family, I speak fluent Korean and English.
