Focus directly on the mathematics and avoid getting stuck in the jargon and notation. I am currently studying technology-assisted teaching based on computer algebra systems and artificial intelligence. These are very advantageous in online teaching situations and using scenario-based mathematical instruction.

Teaching to me is about mentoring, building confidence, and motivating the students in order to help them understand the subject. Once they have a grasp on it, they will likely enjoy it and continue to practice it beyond the classroom. I believe that tutoring complements the work done in school by giving students an extra tool to help them achieve higher levels of understanding and success.
