The education systems in place today do not produce good mathematicians and engineers -- those who succeed do so in spite of these systems. I want to do my part to fix this systemic educational problem, by reaching out to younger kids to encourage them to not just chase grades, but to achieve true mathematical enlightenment, and to start building things from scratch by themselves. I want them to focus on real-world problems, and to grapple with their intricacies until they themselves find the solutions. I don't want kids to grow into adults who believe that "somebody smarter than them will take care of the details" (which is how most programming is done these days sadly), I want kids who will grow up to be the people who solve those problems, and I'm confident that I can empower young students with potential to solve the complex problems facing the world today without needing to rigidly follow dogmatic "best-practices."
