Hello my name is Deanna Hardy. I was born and raised in Oshawa but now reside in Courtice with my husband and two teenaged sons. I received my Bachelor of Education Degree from Nipissing University and my Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Biology from Queen's University. I have been a supply teacher with the Durham District School Board for the past 19 years. My favourite subjects to teach are Mathematics and Science but I have taught all subjects in the curriculum. Hello. I graduated from Pennsylvania State University in May of 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. During my undergraduate career, I tutored fellow students in a variety of maths. Upon graduating, I continued to tutor a bariety of math at a local community college until I was able to get my first full time job. Unfortunately, I did not have the time to continue tutoring, but I maintained a love for teaching and training and I always offered to teach and train fellow employees. I have recently obtained a new job which allows me more free time to get back into tutoring as I did enjoy the challenge of teaching such a universally difficult subject. I love math and I am looking into retaking the GRE exams so that I may attend graduate school. I think LearnPick would be a great place to start. I teach all math from elementary school math to pre calculus. I would love to tutor calculus again after some breif relearning. I reside in New York City and would love to either online tutor or tutor in person. I believe in person tutoring is more effective, but online tutoring provides the opportunity to students with busy afterschool schedules. I take joy in tutoring and helping young students to conquer mathematics.
