I am young vibrant and self-discipled totor who is mostly fascinated by numbers and science , am located in Cape Town and am looking forward to help anyone at any part of the world to get outstanding grades. Anyone can learn anything, YOU only need a good tutor/teache to do so.

My name is Khirunisa Pillay and I am a 2nd-year medical student who achieved 7 As in matric. I am originally from Durban and am currently studying at the University of Pretoria. I have a deep love for volunteer work and testing out new recipes in the kitchen. My personal academic struggles mean I have an understanding that subjects like math can be daunting and overwhelming, but I am confident that with my prior experience in tutoring and passion for helping others, I can make this an exciting experience!

I love mathematics and believe every student has the ability to understand and do well in the subject. In my experience, it is generally a small misunderstanding or gap prior knowledge that prevents students from doing well. All that is required, is to find the explanation that makes sense to the individual student. I have had students fail a grade one year and the next year achieve an 80% average in the subject when moved to my class. I am situated in Cape Town (South Africa). A student once wrote in an essay to a colleague that unlike other math teachers, I never give up or tell someone they cannot do something. I will always keep finding a new way of explaining math until it makes sense. My method requires students to make the mistakes in the contact sessions so that we can remedy the problem areas in order to not be repeated in tests or exams.

I am Thomas Magaya based in Witbank, Mpumalanga. I have a wealth of experience(20years) teaching Mathematics and quite familiar and comfortable with CAPS from grade 6 level to grade 11. As such I am able to diagnose learning difficulties and analyse gaps and give appropriate remedial and corrective action and boost the confidence of the learners in the subject. I also offer assistance in Natural Sciences and Physical Sciences up to grade 10. I take consideration of individual differences and give tasks appropriate to one's developmental stage thus allowing individuals to proceed at their own pace. I am flexible and allow for exploration of alternative approaches if a wall is hit and progress looks minimal. Most importantly, I encourage learners to set their own goals.

Having been through the Scottish school system, I know first hand how difficult High School exams can be. I currently hold a 2:1 BSc (Hons) degree from the University of St Andrews, and I am continuing studying at the University of Edinburgh. During High School, I received straight As and took Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology to Advanced Higher level. I was awarded prizes for highest S5 attainment, as well as top in the country for Higher Chemistry and Advanced Higher Physics. I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a true passion for teaching others and sharing knowledge. Flexible and willing to work at an appropriate pace, whilst also pushing hard to get the desired results.

I love teaching and learning Mathematics and Physics conceptually. I connect the dots by relating concepts in the textbook to real-life scenarios and use anecdotes and humor to solidify understanding. This is how I learned to study effectively in high school and students came to me for help (which was really fun!) I reside in Northcliff and am a first-year Computer Science student at the University of the Witwatersrand. I am surrounded by Maths all day, every day, and I am majoring in Physics.

Hello, I am a mathematician from Brighton & Hove, United Kingdom. I have many years of experience teaching GCSE, A, AS, and university level mathematics. I am a member of the IMA (Institute of Mathematics and Its Applications) and hold a BSc Honours degree in Mathematics from Sussex University. I also studied at Birkbeck College, University of London, for an MSc in Operational Research. If you want to learn mathematics, you need a mathematician. I am a qualified Maths teacher currently lecturing in GCSE Maths and Aeronautical Engineering, with degrees in both Aerospace Engineering and Teaching. I am becoming very popular with ONLINE students; I have invested in all the specialist equipment necessary to deliver tuition online. I of course also offer traditional face to face tuition. Tutees tend to fall into the following 3 categories: - needing advanced help to reach full potential and achieve grade 7/8/9, - predicted a borderline pass or fail at school and needing help to secure a pass, - failed at first attempt and needing assistance with a retake. Doing this not only gets the student very familiar and experienced with what to expect in the exam but also flags up areas of weakness. These areas are then worked on specifically until full competence is shown. This means a typical lesson is made up of half general past paper, and half specific topic. Being a current serving GCSE Maths teacher, I have a wealth of up to date resources and curriculum/exam knowledge allowing me to focus tuition on exactly what is required to maximise results.
